Pro Engine Index

PE360's Pro Engine Index (PEI) is a Game + Practice Evaluation Framework for Athlete Performance Tracking
Transform film, practice, and game performance into measurable intelligence that drives development, recruiting, and advancement.

Section 1 - Player Identification

Pro Engine Index (1 - 5 Grading Scale)

5 - ELITE EXECUTION 4 - WINNING EXECUTION
* Wins assignment decisively * Correct decision and assignment
* Technique is clean, efficient, and repeatable * Minor technical inefficiencies (if any)
* Creates competitive advantage or impact * Positively contributes to play outcome
*No hesitation, no wasted movement *Play succeeds regardless of rep.
(Translation: Reliable winning Rep) (Translation: Winning Football)
3 - NEUTRAL / FUNCTIONAL 2 - LOSING REP (MINOR ERROR)
* Assignment is mostly correct * Late or slightly out of position
* No major positive or negative impact * Reduces effectiveness of play
* Average execution * Does not completely break the play
(Did the job, didn’t elevate) *Right assignment w/ poor technique
1 - MAJOR ERROR
* Incorrect decision or assignment
* Poor technique or awareness
* Directly hurts play outcome

NOTE: Assignment is the floor. Technique determines the ceiling.

* Wrong assignment → grades at a 1 or 2, regardless of technique
* Correct assignment + poor technique → caps at a 3
* Correct assignment + clean technique → opens to a 4 or 5
* The difference between 4 and 5 is impact — did the rep just work, or did it create a competitive advantage?

Section 2 - Production Impact (40%)

Play-based Input System
Total plays participated in during the evaluation.
Game-changing plays (TD, sack, INT, explosive gain, forced turnover)
Wins assignment, contributes positively
No significant positive or negative impact
Lost rep, missed assignment, allowed gain
Turnover, blown coverage, penalty, touchdown allowed

Section 3 - Execution & Technique (25%)

Grading note: Wrong assignment = 1 or 2, regardless of technique.
Correct assignment = eligible for 3, 4, or 5 — technique determines which.
Poor technique on a correct assignment caps the rep at a 3.
Clean technique on a correct assignment opens the rep to a 4 or 5.
Impact on the play — not just execution — is what separates 4 from 5.
